vinyarb- you just have to read it

Its pitched as a mystery movie. Who is Ben Thomas? What does he want with seven strangers? What will he do to them?

I like to read about my movies before watching them, so when the wife-to-be asks me what its about, I literally struggled to find a way to tell her what it was about, without spoiling it for her.

What I managed was:

Its… erm… about redemption.

Its not a bad movie, although if it weren’t for Will Smith, I probably would not have been keen. After all, its actually quite a straight forward plot, with the timelines messed up to create the “mystery” behind it all.

Probably not the best movie to kickstart a new year though, as one fellow random movie goer so eloquently put it while he was walking out of the cinema:

I need a cigarette, its too morbid.
