I'm sure you've heard somewhere that the Large Hadron Collider (or as I like to call it the huge-ass Earth annihilating mofo) is experiencing some technical difficulties again. This time courtesy of a baguette munching pigeon. The series of unfortunate events surrounding the full start-up of this massive machine are getting some scientists to posit the theory that maybe, just maybe, something is travelling back in time to stop the LHC from powering up. There has been many theories that turning the LHC on full may produce a black hole, resulting in Earth swallowing itself up. The Large HAdron Collider was built over 20 years, in an effort to find the elusive Higgs Boson Particle, or "God Particle" by smashing atoms together at high speeds, re-creating the Big Bang effect. Since Oct 2005, several "accidents" and "incidents" have continously delayed the construction and testing of the LHC, even resulting in the death of a technician. It just makes you think; what are the odds of so many concidental accidents happening? And when you put together these 2 theories in comparison: 1) the probability of just one after another after another accident happening by chance, or 2) time-travelling particle seeking to destroy itself before it can be created
and keeping in mind occam's razor, you know you just have to go with the suicidal time travelling particle.
